Goodbye, USA!

1 year of planning.  2 years of saving.  Countless sleepless nights.  

It’s hard to believe we’re finally boarding our first flight on our round the world trip!  Despite being stopped by TSA for about 20 minutes due to boarding pass discrepancies, we’re on our way to Tokyo, our first destination.  We managed to squeeze everything on our packing lists into two small bags & two back packs.  

We’re ready for all of the cold showers, questionable accommodations & days without electricity.  We’re ready to teach English in poverty-stricken villages and dive with the Great White sharks.  We’re ready for all of the unknowns that lie ahead.  Bring it on!
